BTS Members RM and V Discuss Weight Changes Before and After Military Service

BTS members RM and V recently opened up about their weight changes before and after their military service.

On October 10th, RM and V hosted a live broadcast to celebrate their military discharge and connect with fans.

During the broadcast, RM commented to V, "It seems like you've been working out a lot in the military. Your body has gotten bigger." He added, "Last year, I weighed up to 83kg. Now, I'm at 74kg. Before enlisting, I was 69kg."

V shared, "I enlisted at 61kg. I went up to 80kg and now I'm down to 67kg. I know how to lose weight now. Although I don't know about my face, my body silhouette looked nice at 80kg." RM responded, "I'm not sure how it looks on camera. It does seem a bit bulky. We need to look sharp for our profession."

V continued, "I ate a lot, like six days a week, and consistently worked out, which made me healthier. I'm proud of that." RM agreed, saying, "I mostly worked out too. There wasn't much else to do."

RM and V enlisted in December 2023, serving in the 15th Infantry Division and the 2nd Corps Military Police Special Task Force, respectively. Jimin and Jungkook are set to complete their service on the 11th, while Suga, who is serving as a social service agent, will be discharged on the 21st.
