BTS's V Shares Updates Ahead of Military Discharge, Captivating Fans

BTS member V has stirred excitement among fans by sharing updates just a day before his military discharge.

On October 9, V took to Instagram to share several photos, giving fans a glimpse into his daily life.

In one of the photos, V is seen sitting across from renowned film director Park Chan-wook at a restaurant, with wine glasses in front of them. V, known for his deep interest in film and art, captured fans' attention with this meeting with the acclaimed director.

Another post showed V working out at a gym with actor Song Kang, who is currently serving in the military. The two shared mirror selfies and photos from a four-cut photo booth, showcasing their camaraderie. V tagged Song Kang's account with a short message, "Hang in there," expressing their friendship. Song Kang is expected to be discharged in October.

Meanwhile, V and RM are set to complete their military service and return to civilian life on the morning of October 10. RM enlisted in December 2023 with the 15th Infantry Division's military band, balancing music and service, while V served with the 2nd Corps Military Police Special Task Force.

Big Hit Music released an official statement on October 9, stating, "RM and V are scheduled to be discharged tomorrow morning. The area near their units is very limited in space, and a large crowd could pose safety risks. We kindly ask fans to refrain from visiting the site for safety reasons."

After their discharge ceremonies at their respective units, RM and V are expected to share brief remarks about their discharge at a location in Gangwon Province.

With RM and V's discharge, a total of four BTS members, including Jin and J-Hope, have completed their military service. Jimin and Jungkook are also set to be discharged from active duty on October 11.

Additionally, SUGA, who is serving as a social service agent, is scheduled to be released from his duties on October 21. This marks the completion of military service for all BTS members, paving the way for their full group activities to resume.
