G-Dragon Denies Long-Standing Dating Rumors with Lee Joo-yeon
K-pop star G-Dragon has officially denied the long-standing dating rumors with former After School member and actress Lee Joo-yeon. By releasing an official statement after some time had passed since the rumors resurfaced, G-Dragon seems determined to clarify the nature of their relationship.

On the 6th, G-Dragon's agency, Galaxy Corporation, issued a statement emphasizing, "The dating rumors between G-Dragon and Lee Joo-yeon that have been continuously raised recently are not true." This statement aims to put an end to the rumors that have persisted for nine years.

The dating rumors date back to October 2017 when a video application leaked footage of the two together, sparking initial speculation. At the time, both parties dismissed the rumors, stating they were just friends.

In November of the same year, rumors resurfaced when reports of G-Dragon and Lee Joo-yeon vacationing in Hawaii circulated online. No official statements were made by either side at that time.

On January 1, 2018, a media outlet reported on a date between the two in Jeju Island, yet again, neither party commented, leading to further speculation.

In May 2019, Lee Joo-yeon posted and then deleted a video on her social media featuring someone resembling G-Dragon, reigniting the dating rumors.

Six years later, in April, the old rumors resurfaced once more. Some speculated that the interior seen in a photo posted by Lee Joo-yeon on social media resembled G-Dragon's home. G-Dragon's side once again officially denied the rumors, stating they were not true.

Recently, G-Dragon was also linked to TWICE member Sana. On April 22, during Coldplay's concert in Korea, G-Dragon posted a photo of Sana on the big screen and tagged her personal account with a brief comment in Japanese, "Eh?" He quickly deleted the post, fueling further speculation.

After remaining silent for over a month, Galaxy Corporation finally addressed the rumors on June 2, stating that the tag was merely a friendly gesture following a 'Nangterview' shoot with Sana. They explained that they initially refrained from commenting to avoid spoilers for the 'Nangterview' appearance.
