13th TOP TEN AWARDS Finals Kick Off: BTS, BLACKPINK, and More Compete for Best Global Artist

The finals for the 13th TOP TEN AWARDS (TTA) have officially begun on June 5th. Leading the charge into the finals are Kim Taeyeon, Kim Hye-yoon, NiziU, Park Seo-jin, BTS's V and Jin, BLACKPINK's Jennie and Jisoo, ZenBlue, Cha Eun-woo, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER, all of whom topped their respective categories in the preliminary rounds. With such fierce competition in the preliminaries, the finals are expected to be equally intense.

The preliminary voting for TTA, which aims to select the 'Best Global Artist' from South Korea, concluded on June 1st. The voting took place from May 19th at 10 AM to June 1st at noon. The finals voting commenced on June 5th at 10 AM and will continue until June 14th at noon.

The finalists, selected through the Idol Champ and Celeb Champ applications, include Kim Da-hyun, Kim Taeyeon, Kim Hye-yoon, NexG, NiziU, Park Seo-jin, BTS's V, BTS's Jin, Byun Woo-seok, BLACKPINK's Jennie, BLACKPINK's Jisoo, Son Tae-jin, ASTRO, Jang Min-ho, ZenBlue, Jisoo, Cha Eun-woo, tripleS, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER.

In the male group category, TOMORROW X TOGETHER secured the top spot in the preliminaries, followed by ASTRO. For female groups, NiziU and tripleS claimed the first and second places, respectively, advancing to the finals.

In the male idol solo category, BTS's V took the lead, with fellow member Jin following closely behind, both advancing to the finals. In the female idol solo category, BLACKPINK's Jennie and Jisoo took the first and second places, respectively. In the rookie category, ZenBlue came in first, followed by NexG.

In the male actor category, Cha Eun-woo topped the preliminary voting, with Byun Woo-seok in second place. Kim Hye-yoon led the female actor category, with BLACKPINK's Jisoo following.

In the male solo singer category, Park Seo-jin and Son Tae-jin took the first and second places, respectively. Kim Taeyeon led the female solo singer category, with Kim Da-hyun in second place. In the Best Song category, Park Seo-jin's 'Honey Tip' took the top spot, followed by Jang Min-ho's 'Urachachacha,' both advancing to the finals.

Organized by TenAsia, the 13th TTA is an event to crown the best global artist for the first half of 2025. Artists representing K-pop and K-content are competing for the title of 'Best Global Artist' at the 13th TTA.

The top two artists from each category, selected through the preliminaries, will compete in the finals to be named the 'Best Global Artist for the First Half of 2025.'
