Korean Actor Lee Dong-gun Rumored to Be Dating Actress Kang Hae-rim

South Korean actor Lee Dong-gun, born in 1980, is rumored to be in a relationship with actress Kang Hae-rim, who is 16 years his junior. However, both actors' agencies have neither confirmed nor denied the reports, citing privacy concerns.

Kang Hae-rim's agency, Andmark, stated on the 29th, "It is difficult to confirm as it pertains to the actor's private life." Meanwhile, Lee Dong-gun's agency, W Plus, has remained silent without issuing any statement.

Previously, a media outlet reported on the 24th that Lee Dong-gun was seen on a date with a woman in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam, Seoul. The report described them as being affectionate, with Lee wrapping his arm around her waist and shoulders and holding hands. The woman was identified as actress Kang Hae-rim.

Kang Hae-rim debuted in 2017 with the web drama 'Idol Authority' and has since appeared in KBS Joy's 'Love's Intervention' and JTBC's 'Live On.' She gained attention after participating in Netflix's reality show 'Somebody,' which had a competitive selection process with a 600:1 ratio. Recently, she played the role of Jin Pro in the film 'Lobby,' directed by Ha Jung-woo.

Lee Dong-gun married actress Jo Yoon-hee in September 2017 after meeting on the set of the KBS2 drama 'The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop.' The couple welcomed their daughter, Roa, in December of the same year. However, they divorced by mutual agreement in May 2020. Lee is currently sharing his single life on SBS's 'My Ugly Duckling' and has recently opened a café in Jeju Island, marking a new chapter in his life.
