NEWBEAT Showcases Unique Charm in Latest Photoshoot and Interview

NEWBEAT captivates with their seven distinct charms.

On the 20th, @Star1 magazine unveiled the June issue featuring a photoshoot and interview with the group NEWBEAT, consisting of members Park Min-seok, Hong Min-seong, Jeon Yeo-yeong, Choi Seo-hyun, Kim Tae-yang, Jo Yoon-hoo, and Kim Ri-woo.

In the photoshoot, NEWBEAT members donned clean denim outfits, exuding a refreshing vibe. The members' close-knit poses in a shared space convey a natural yet stylish aura. Their visuals, which blend youthful innocence with maturity, instantly capture the viewer's attention.

In March, NEWBEAT made their debut in the music industry with their first full-length album 'RAW AND RAD.' Park Min-seok described the debut album as "an album filled with raw sincerity and youthful spirit," adding, "We wanted to showcase our unique musical color through various genres and experiments."

Despite still coming to terms with their debut, NEWBEAT exudes confidence on stage. Choi Seo-hyun recalled performing at the 'Seoul Spring Festa Opening Seoul Wonder Show,' saying, "Dancing on a big stage made me feel like we truly debuted." Kim Ri-woo added, "I feel the reality of our debut most when receiving fans' support."

NEWBEAT also explained the concept of 'horns' in their title track 'Flip the Coin.' Park Min-seok stated, "The horns symbolize the duality of the title track, representing the clash between the devil and a game boy, two opposing worlds." Jeon Yeo-yeong and Jo Yoon-hoo added, "The horns are elements that traverse NEWBEAT's universe, symbolizing inner wounds, growth, and differences. Each album will continue to carry new meanings."

When asked about their future aspirations, NEWBEAT responded with determination. Park Min-seok declared, "NEWBEAT is NEWBEAT. We aim to become a unique team with our own color." Hong Min-seong expressed, "We want to grow into idols that capture the world's attention." Kim Tae-yang vowed, "We will definitely win the Rookie of the Year award," while Jeon Yeo-yeong shared, "We aspire to be a team that conveys sincerity through our performances."
