K-Pop Star Kim Jaejoong Unveils New EP 'Beauty in Chaos' with Unique Collaboration

Members of the girl group Say My Name, under the label Encode Entertainment, have teamed up to support their Chief Strategy Officer, Kim Jaejoong.

On the 19th, Kim Jaejoong held a press conference at the MBC Golden Mouse Hall in Sangam-dong, Seoul, to commemorate the release of his new EP 'Beauty in Chaos'.

During the event, Kim introduced the first track, 'In Chaos', noting that it has a special story. He hesitated before revealing, "The lyricist is listed as 'Hikami', and you might be curious about who that is. I'm not sure if I should say this today," he said. He continued, "Hitomi and Kanny from Say My Name co-wrote the lyrics. We combined their names to create 'Hikami'. We used the name 'Hikami' to spark curiosity."

Kim Jaejoong shared, "Everyone around me was surprised. It's rare to have artists from the same label write lyrics. I knew they were talented, so I entrusted them with it, and it turned out great." He added humorously, "I didn't discuss revealing 'Hikami's identity with the members. It was my decision."

The title track 'ROCK STAR' is filled with intense sound and free-spirited energy. It conveys the message that even the imperfect self hidden behind a mask is the real you, and with someone by your side, you can become your own 'rock star'.

The album includes a total of five tracks, starting with the powerful opener 'In Chaos', the passionate 'Miracle', 'Last VoW' composed by band member Kim Sangmin and written by Kim Jaejoong, and 'Goal In' penned by WINNER's Kang Seungyoon, promising to showcase the charm of 'Rock Jaejoong' without a dull moment.

Kim Jaejoong's new EP 'Beauty in Chaos' will be released on various online music platforms at 6 PM today.
