According to an exclusive report by TenAsia on the 18th, Sungmin is preparing to sign an exclusive contract with Total Set. Known for his passion for trot music, Sungmin has expressed a desire to join a company with a strong roster of trot artists. It has been confirmed that Sungmin recently finalized detailed negotiations with Total Set.

Sungmin made his foray into the trot genre by participating in 'Mr. Trot 2' in 2022, where he introduced himself as "a budding trot artist transitioning from a K-pop singer."

Total Set is home to numerous trot artists, including Jin Sung, Han Hye-jin, Hong Ja, Park Gun, Ahn Sung-hoon, Jung Da-kyung, Oh Yoo-jin, and Lee Soo-yeon. The company also represents TV personalities such as Jung Yi-rang, Han Young, and Choo Dae-yeop.
