Lim Young-woong Tops Poll as Most Desired Singer to Read with in Spring

Lim Young-woong has been voted as the number one male trot singer people want to read books with in a warm spring library setting.

From March 3 to 9, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which male trot singer would you like to read books with in a warm spring library?' Lim Young-woong emerged as the winner.

Lim Young-woong is set to release a collaborative single titled 'More Beautiful Than Heaven' on March 14 at 6 PM. Additionally, his film 'Lim Young-woong l I'm Hero the Stadium' has been in the 'Top 10 Movies in Korea' for nine consecutive weeks, showcasing his popularity. On March 28, Lim Young-woong donated 400 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea under his fan club's name, Hero Era, to support wildfire victims. Of this, Lim Young-woong contributed 300 million KRW, while his agency, Fish Music, donated 100 million KRW. Last year, it was reported that Lim Young-woong received approximately 23.3 billion KRW, including settlement payments from Fish Music.

In second place is Taebaek, who gained recognition through MBN's 'Burning Trotman' in 2023. He made waves in Vietnam by sharing the excitement of trot music with Korean expatriates and locals. Starting as a musical actor, he transitioned through a performance group before debuting as a trot singer, earning the nickname 'Energy Boy' among fans for his vibrant charisma.

Coming in third is Song Min-jun, who debuted in 2019 with the single album 'Woman in Memory' and has been actively performing. Recently, Song Min-jun has been making waves with 'Life Is,' showcasing his talent on various stages. He also held a successful birthday fan meeting, '2025 Happy Minjun Day,' in March, demonstrating his deep affection for his fans. Song Min-jun continues to be active in music shows and entertainment programs, including MBN's 'Current King 2' gala show.

Currently, on the Top Ten TenAsia website, polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which female singer would you like to study for upcoming midterms with?', 'Which male singer would you like to study for upcoming midterms with?', 'Which female trot singer would you like to study for upcoming midterms with?', and 'Which male trot singer would you like to study for upcoming midterms with?'
