Red Velvet's Wendy Tops Poll as Most Desired Library Companion on a Warm Spring Day
The poll, conducted by TenAsia from the 3rd to the 9th of this month, asked participants to choose which female singer they would most like to share a library reading session with on a pleasant spring day.
Wendy claimed the top spot in the poll. Recently, Wendy announced her departure from SM Entertainment after a decade-long partnership. On the 4th, SM Entertainment stated, "We announce the termination of exclusive contracts with Wendy and Yeri." They added, "We sincerely support Wendy and Yeri in their new beginnings." Wendy will continue her group activities with Red Velvet under SM.
In second place was (G)I-DLE's Miyeon. Miyeon recently donated 100 million won to aid recovery efforts for recent wildfire victims. She expressed, "Watching the news broke my heart. I hope this can provide some strength to those affected," and added, "I sincerely wish for everyone to return to their daily lives as soon as possible." (G)I-DLE is set to perform at the 'Summer Sonic 2025' music festival in Tokyo and Osaka on August 16th and 17th.
Third place went to Girls' Generation's Tiffany. Celebrating their 18th year, Girls' Generation continues to showcase their strong bond. Since debuting in 2007, Tiffany has expanded her career beyond singing to acting. Last year, she delivered impressive performances in the Disney Plus series 'Uncle Samsik' and the musical 'Chicago.' Recently, she has taken on a new challenge as the host of the beauty content YouTube channel 'Bubble Bubble.' The channel's first segment, 'Face Talk,' features Tiffany inviting celebrities she wishes to meet for candid conversations.
Currently, on the Top Ten TenAsia website, polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which female singer would you like to study for upcoming midterms with?' and 'Which male singer would you like to study for upcoming midterms with?' among others.
