Eun Ga-eun Tops Poll as Most Desired Trot Singer for a Spring Campus Stroll

Eun Ga-eun has been voted as the top female trot singer people want to stroll with on a cherry blossom-filled college campus this spring.

The poll, conducted by TenAsia from March 31 to April 6, asked participants to choose the female trot singer they would most like to walk with on a spring day.

Eun Ga-eun claimed the top spot. She recently released a new song titled 'Promise' on April 4, marking her first release in 11 months. The song captures the genuine emotions of a woman about to get married. Eun Ga-eun showcased her musical talents by participating in both the lyrics and composition of the song, with her fiancé, singer Park Hyun-ho, also contributing as a co-composer. Their wedding is set for April 12, where Park Hyun-ho's close friend, Son Tae-jin, will perform a congratulatory song, drawing public attention.

Kim Da-hyun secured the second position. She debuted in 2019 with 'Gyeongsanatne' and gained recognition as part of the 'Cheonghakdong Gukak Sisters.' In September 2020, she launched her solo career with the release of 'Flower Maiden.' Kim Da-hyun gained further attention by finishing second on MBN's 'Voice Trot' and third on TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot 2.' On April 6, she made headlines by donating 2 million won to her hometown of Daegu Nam-gu, showcasing her positive influence.

Jeon Yu-jin came in third. She continues to engage with fans through various performances and will be appearing at the 'MBN 2025 Korea Trot Festival' on June 1 at Songdo Moonlight Festival Park in Incheon, alongside artists like Jin Sung, Kim Yong-im, Shin Yoo, Seo Ji-oh, Na Sang-do, Yang Ji-eun, Ryu Ji-kwang, and Eun Ga-eun.

Currently, the Top Ten TenAsia website is hosting polls on themes such as 'Which female singer would you like to go on a picnic with to the Han River this spring?' and similar topics for male singers and trot singers.
