Eun Ga-eun Tops Poll as Most Desired Trot Singer to See Cherry Blossoms With
From March 24 to 30, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female trot singer would you like to see cherry blossoms with?' Eun Ga-eun emerged as the top choice.
Eun Ga-eun recently released her new song 'I Promise' on April 4, marking her first release in 11 months. The song captures the sincere emotions of a woman about to get married. Eun Ga-eun showcased her musical talents by participating in both the lyrics and composition of the song, with her fiancé, singer Park Hyun-ho, also contributing as a co-composer. It has been reported that Park Hyun-ho's close friend, Son Tae-jin, will sing a congratulatory song at their wedding scheduled for April 12.
In second place is Yoon Tae-hwa. Debuting in August 2009 with the single 'Blink Blink,' she gained acclaim during the 'Miss Trot 2' auditions with her powerful rendition of 'Dear You,' earning high praise from the judges and securing the top spot in the preliminaries. Although she was a strong contender for the win, she finished the competition in 13th place. Yoon Tae-hwa continues to engage with fans through nationwide events and her YouTube channel 'Yoon Tae-hwa TV.'
Kim Da-hyun secured the third spot. She debuted in 2019 with 'It's a Celebration' and became known as part of the 'Cheonghak-dong Gugak Sisters.' In September 2020, she released 'Flower Maiden,' establishing herself as a solo artist. Kim Da-hyun gained attention by finishing second in MBN's 'Voice Trot' and later secured third place in TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot 2.' Last month, she made a charitable donation of 2 million won to her hometown of Nam-gu, Daegu, showcasing her positive influence.
Currently, the Top Ten TenAsia website is hosting polls on topics such as 'Which male singer would you like to enjoy the spring rain with?' and 'Which female trot singer would you like to enjoy the spring rain with?' among others.
