Comedian Ahn Young-mi Opens Up About Health Struggles During Second Pregnancy

Comedian Ahn Young-mi candidly shared her health struggles during her second pregnancy.

On the 24th, a video titled 'Ahn Young-mi, who is pregnant but still wants beer, goes on a date in Daehangno (ft. Senior Jo Hye-ryun's support)' was uploaded on the YouTube channel 'Shin Bong-sun'.

In the video, Ahn Young-mi enjoyed a rare outing with Shin Bong-sun in Daehangno.

Ahn Young-mi expressed, "It's been so long since I've been out," adding humorously, "It's my first YouTube appearance in about four years since my first pregnancy. People might think I've been pregnant for four years straight," eliciting laughter.

Despite her cheerful demeanor, her health was not in the best condition. When Shin Bong-sun noticed scars around her neck, Ahn Young-mi confessed, "I've been scratching all over my body. I've even developed housewife's eczema." She continued, "Due to hormonal changes, my whole body is in a state I can't even describe. Everything except my face is severe."

Ahn Young-mi also shared, "I wake up every hour. I'm exhausted because I can't sleep," revealing her struggle with sleep deprivation.

She also talked about her second child, revealing, "I'm going for a 3D ultrasound tomorrow. The second child is a boy," which caught attention. Shin Bong-sun responded, "You might have wanted a daughter, but you'll have a son full of charm," offering her support.

Facing childbirth once again with her second pregnancy, Ahn Young-mi previously admitted, "I was cautious because of my advanced maternal age." She shared, "I'm more nervous than with my first, and every day feels cautious," openly discussing the burdens of her pregnancy journey.

She also revealed, "I felt like I wasn't able to care for my first child enough, which was a big concern. But I wanted to give him a sibling, so I decided to go for it. However, there won't be a third," showing her struggles and decisions as a mother.

Meanwhile, Ahn Young-mi married a non-celebrity husband in 2020 and gave birth to her first son in 2023. She is currently expecting her second child, due in July. Ahn Young-mi is currently living apart from her husband, who is residing in the United States, continuing their long-distance marriage.
