Lee Junho Makes History as First Korean Actor on Brazil's 'The Noite'

Lee Junho has become the first Korean actor to appear on Brazil's renowned talk show 'The Noite'.

On October 10th, Lee Junho made history by appearing on 'The Noite', a popular late-night talk show aired on Brazil's SBT network, hosted by the famous comedian Danilo Gentili. Since its debut in 2014, 'The Noite' has welcomed numerous global stars, including Keanu Reeves, M. Night Shyamalan, Josh Hartnett, Tom Holland, and Hugh Jackman.

Following his fan concert '2025 Lee Junho FAN-CON in SÃO PAULO' held on October 1st and 2nd, Lee Junho captivated viewers by sharing his experiences as a singer and actor, discussing his new projects, and reflecting on his performances.

Introduced by host Danilo Gentili, Lee Junho greeted the audience in Portuguese, expressing his excitement about the warm welcome he received in Brazil. He shared his first impressions of the country, mentioning the enthusiastic reception at the airport and concert venues. He also recounted his experience trying the traditional dish, churrasco, and enjoyed a segment dedicated to his love for ice cream.

Lee Junho's starring role in the JTBC drama 'King the Land' has achieved global success, ranking first three times in the non-English TV category on Netflix's global top 10 website, including in Brazil and 21 other regions. During a press conference held before his concert and on the show, he faced numerous questions about 'King the Land'. Amidst the growing popularity of Korean content in Brazil, Lee Junho expressed his gratitude, saying, "I'm thankful and proud that people on the other side of the world love Korean culture and content. Thanks to technological advancements, the distance feels shorter, and I enjoy connecting with fans online."

Lee Junho shared stories of his dedication to his craft, including losing 16kg for a role and living without sunlight to portray a lonely character. He also discussed performing a scene in 'The Red Sleeve' where he shot a flaming arrow without a stunt double, emphasizing his commitment to authenticity in his performances.

Having successfully completed his fan concert tour across four regions with eight performances, Lee Junho is set to shine as an actor this year. He will showcase diverse roles, from the everyday hero 'Kang Sang-woong' in the Netflix series 'Cash Hero' to 'Kang Tae-poong', a youth facing the 1997 IMF crisis in the upcoming tvN drama 'Typhoon Office'. He described 'Cash Hero' as a title combining 'cash' and 'hero', based on a webtoon, and asked for viewers' anticipation and interest.
