K-Pop Star Wheesung Passes Away: Tributes Pour in from Fans and Fellow Artists

The sudden passing of singer Wheesung on the 10th has led to an outpouring of tributes from fans and fellow artists in the entertainment industry.

Rapper Changmo expressed his gratitude and respect, saying, "Thank you for influencing my life with your amazing music. Rest in peace."

Rapper Paloalto shared the cover of Wheesung's debut album 'Like a Movie' on his social media, reminiscing, "Thank you for being part of my good memories in my youth with your music. He was a promising artist among R&B enthusiasts even before his debut, and I attended his first concert after his debut album was released. It's shocking and heartbreaking."

Yoon Min-soo posted a video of himself performing a duet with Wheesung on SBS's 'Fantastic Duo,' singing Toy's 'I Lived by Your Side for a While.' He mourned, "Wheesung, let's sing and make music freely where you are. I won't forget your pure and clear spirit. Let's meet again and sing together."

Broadcaster Harisu conveyed her condolences with a brief message, "Rest in peace."

Wheesung was found collapsed at his home around 6:29 PM on the 10th. Police are currently investigating for any signs of foul play or a suicide note. Details regarding the funeral will be provided separately by his agency, Taejo Entertainment.
