Actor Kim Soo-hyun Denies Allegations of Relationship with Late Actress Kim Sae-ron

The family of the late actress Kim Sae-ron has made shocking claims regarding actor Kim Soo-hyun, alleging that Kim Sae-ron had been in a relationship with him for six years starting when she was 15. They further claimed that she dedicated herself to his agency, Gold Medalist, without receiving due recognition or compensation. Kim Soo-hyun's agency has strongly refuted these allegations, labeling them as "blatantly false."

On the 10th, Kim Sae-ron's family alleged that her death was connected to Kim Soo-hyun. A relative, identified as Ms. A, stated in a YouTube interview, "It is true that Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron were in a relationship for six years. Our family is outraged." Ms. A also claimed that Kim Sae-ron worked tirelessly for Gold Medalist without pay, only to be discarded.

The family asserted that Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun dated from 2015 to 2021, and after their breakup, she posted photos hoping for reconciliation. They also revealed that Kim Sae-ron took on roles such as rookie casting and visual directing for the agency without fair compensation. Furthermore, they highlighted that during Kim Sae-ron's DUI incident, the agency failed to protect her and instead demanded she repay a debt of 700 million won.

In contrast, Kim Soo-hyun has vehemently denied these claims, calling them "blatantly false."

Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, stated, "The claims made by the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute regarding Kim Soo-hyun are entirely false. They alleged that Kim Soo-hyun and our agency conspired with YouTuber Lee Jin-ho to harass the late Kim Sae-ron, claimed a relationship between Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron from when she was 15, and criticized our handling of her DUI incident. These are malicious and false allegations, and we are considering the strongest legal action against Garosero Research Institute for spreading these falsehoods."

The agency added, "We are deeply saddened by the passing of Kim Sae-ron, who was once part of our agency, and we mourn her loss. However, the dissemination of such false information by Garosero Research Institute mirrors the 'cyber wrecking' that troubled her in life, damaging not only our reputation but also the honor of the deceased. We will respond firmly to these actions."
