Koo Jun-yup Struggles with Grief After Wife Barbie Hsu's Passing
Koo Jun-yup, a renowned South Korean singer, is reportedly struggling to cope with the loss of his wife, Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu (also known as Xu Xiyuan), who passed away at the age of 48. Taiwanese media outlets, including the China Times, have reported on Koo's ongoing grief.

On October 27, during a press conference for the play 'Tonight, There is a Rich Man in Taipei,' Taiwanese film and performance producer Wang Wei-chung, a close friend of Hsu, spoke about the couple. Wang urged the media to allow the deceased to rest in peace, acknowledging the pain Koo is experiencing. He noted that Koo, who once appeared strong, has visibly lost weight due to his sorrow.

Additionally, it was reported that Koo and Hsu's family have not yet held a funeral for Hsu. They are currently searching for a suitable resting place or a cemetery where a statue can be erected in her memory, instead of opting for a traditional burial.

The China Times explained that the family is considering these options to provide a place for relatives and friends to visit and remember Hsu. They are still deliberating on the funeral arrangements, and Koo has not made a final decision.
