BTS's V Shares Military Update, Excites Fans with Discharge Countdown

BTS member V has shared several photos on social media, heightening anticipation for his military discharge.

On the 23rd, V posted on his social media, saying, "Sergeant Kim reporting in. It's D-107 until discharge." He added, "After a very harsh winter, I will carefully prepare and return healthy in the warm spring."

In the released photos, V exudes both the masculinity of a soldier and the playful charm of everyday life. Particularly striking is his appearance in a 'Special Mission Unit' combat uniform, where his intense gaze showcases the charisma of a soldier. In another photo, standing next to a snowman, he displays an adorable charm.

Notably, V had previously mentioned his intention to bulk up through weight gain and exercise before enlisting, and his more robust physique is now captivating global ARMY fans.

Earlier, V made headlines for his adept handling of firearms during urban combat shooting training with fellow unit members, as seen on the Army's YouTube channel.

Enlisted in December 2023, V is currently serving as a Private First Class in the Republic of Korea Army's 2nd Corps Military Police Special Mission Unit. V and RM are scheduled to be discharged on June 10, 2025. Meanwhile, Jin and J-Hope have completed their military service and are pursuing solo activities, while Jimin and Jungkook will be discharged on June 11. Suga is set to be released from service on June 21.
