South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron has passed away.

Police reported that on the 16th, Kim Sae-ron was found unconscious at her home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, and was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. She was 25 years old.

The day of Kim Sae-ron's passing coincides with actor Kim Soo-hyun's birthday. Previously, in March of last year, Kim Sae-ron had posted a photo on her social media account with her cheek touching Kim Soo-hyun's, sparking self-made dating rumors. Although she quickly removed the photo, the rumors persisted. At the time, Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, denied the rumors, stating they were unfounded.

Kim Sae-ron debuted in 2001 as a cover model for the magazine 'Enfant.' She gained recognition after appearing in the 2010 film 'The Man from Nowhere' and continued to shine in various works such as 'The Neighbors,' 'A Girl at My Door,' and 'Mirror of the Witch.'

In May 2022, she was involved in a DUI accident and had been taking time for self-reflection since. The accident, which involved her crashing into a transformer, caused a blackout in the Sinsa-dong and Apgujeong-dong areas of Gangnam, Seoul, for approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes, affecting local businesses due to disrupted card payments.
