Korean Broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo Mourns Victims of Jeju Air Tragedy
Korean broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo has paid tribute to the victims of the Jeju Air tragedy.

On the 29th, Jeon Hyun-moo changed his Instagram profile picture to an image of a chrysanthemum, symbolizing mourning for the victims of the Jeju Air disaster.

Jeon expressed his condolences with the message "In memory of the victims of the Muan Air disaster" written on his profile picture.

Jeon was scheduled to appear as an MC at the '2024 MBC Entertainment Awards' on the same day. However, the broadcast was canceled due to the tragic Jeju Air accident that claimed numerous lives.

Earlier on the morning of the 29th, a Jeju Air passenger plane from Bangkok, Thailand, crashed at Muan International Airport in South Jeolla Province. The accident resulted in the deaths of 179 out of 181 passengers, with 2 injured. In response, the government has declared a national mourning period from that day until the 4th of the following month.
