Kim Jong-min Shines at 2024 KBS Entertainment Awards with Multiple Wins
On the evening of the 21st, during the broadcast of the '2024 KBS Entertainment Awards' on KBS2, Kim Jong-min was honored with the Producer's Special Award, Best Teamwork Award, and Entertainer of the Year Award.
Recognized for his outstanding contributions to '2 Days & 1 Night', Kim Jong-min expressed his gratitude upon receiving the Producer's Special Award, saying, “This is an incredibly precious award that I never expected. I've met so many producers during my 17 years on '2 Days & 1 Night'. There isn't a producer at KBS that I don't know. I'm grateful for being able to continue for so long. This is even better than the grand prize.”
Additionally, Kim Jong-min, along with the '2 Days & 1 Night' team, received the Best Teamwork Award, further highlighting the event. As the MC of the '2024 KBS Entertainment Awards', Kim Jong-min showcased his chemistry with co-host Lee Joon, delivering a humorous and engaging interview that had the audience in stitches.
Kim Jong-min also took the stage as a presenter for the 'Viewer's Choice Best Program Award', where he left a heartfelt video message for his girlfriend, earning enthusiastic applause. He shared, “I met someone very special this year. I hope we can be together next year. Please support us and send your love.” He concluded the night by winning the Entertainer of the Year Award, receiving a warm round of applause.
Previously, Kim Jong-min had won the group grand prize for '2 Days & 1 Night' in 2011 and 2023, and he was the solo grand prize winner in 2016. With his continued success on '2 Days & 1 Night' for 17 years and his recent Producer's Special Award, many are keenly watching his ongoing journey in entertainment.
Meanwhile, Kim Jong-min continues to engage audiences through various shows, including KBS2's '2 Days & 1 Night Season 4' and Channel A's 'Modern Men’s Life – Groom Class'.
