NewJeans Returns with a Storm of Instagram Updates Amidst Contract Dispute
The group NewJeans, now back as NewJeans, has been actively updating their new Instagram account with a flurry of posts.
On the 15th, the members of NewJeans shared four posts and 12 stories just in the morning.
Through these posts, the members revealed their daily lives, with member Minji catching attention by captioning, "I've been waiting for this day."
In the stories, member Hani shared playful moments captured in photos and videos from inside an airplane, asking their fandom, "Bunnies, can you handle our Instagram?"
Previously, on the 14th, NewJeans members Minji, Hani, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein launched an Instagram account under the name 'jeanzforfree.' In their stories, they introduced themselves saying, "We are the real deal," and mentioned that they had prepaid for drinks and meals for their fans, Bunnies, attending a rally in Yeouido.
Meanwhile, NewJeans held an emergency press conference on the 28th of last month, announcing the termination of their exclusive contract with ADOR. In response, ADOR filed a lawsuit on the 3rd to confirm the validity of the contract. Despite the split with ADOR, NewJeans continues to fulfill scheduled appearances, such as guesting at the Japanese duo YOASOBI's concert on the 7th. However, they are not referring to themselves as 'NewJeans.'
