BTS's Jin Dominates Billboard Charts with Solo Album 'Happy'
BTS member Jin has taken the U.S. Billboard charts by storm with his debut solo album 'Happy'.
According to the latest charts released by Billboard on November 30th (KST), Jin's 'Happy' secured the 4th spot on the main album chart, the 'Billboard 200'. The album also ranked 2nd on the 'World Albums' chart and 3rd on the 'Top Album Sales' chart.
The title track 'Running Wild' landed at 53rd on the Billboard 'Hot 100'. It also achieved impressive positions on the 'Global (Excl. U.S.)' and 'Global 200' charts, ranking 4th and 5th respectively, and topped the 'Digital Song Sales' chart.
Other tracks from the album also performed well on various charts. The pre-released track 'I'll Be There' climbed 43 spots to 29th on the 'Global (Excl. U.S.)' chart. On the same chart, 'Heart on the Window (with Wendy)' ranked 99th, 'Another Level' 142nd, 'Until I Reach You' 158th, and 'Longing' 172nd.
Jin's new songs filled the top five spots on the 'World Digital Song Sales' chart, with 'Heart on the Window (with Wendy)' taking the top position. 'Another Level', 'Longing', 'Until I Reach You', and 'I'll Be There' followed in succession. This achievement places Jin among the few artists, including RM, Suga, and J-Hope, to occupy the entire 'Top 5' of this chart.
Jimin and Jungkook also continue to make waves. Jimin's 'Who' is at 45th on the Billboard 'Hot 100', and his second solo album is at 158th on the 'Billboard 200', marking its 18th consecutive week on the chart. Additionally, 'Who' is 16th on the 'Global (Excl. U.S.)', 21st on the 'Global 200', and 33rd on the 'Streaming Songs' chart. 'MUSE' remains strong at 5th on the 'World Albums' chart.
Jungkook's debut solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' and the title track 'Standing Next to You' from his solo album 'GOLDEN' are ranked 78th and 196th on the 'Global (Excl. U.S.)' chart, respectively. Notably, 'Seven (feat. Latto)' is at 133rd on the 'Global 200', maintaining its position for 71 consecutive weeks, setting a record for the longest-charting K-pop solo artist on this chart.
