Actor Jung Woo-sung and Model Moon Ga-bi Face Conflict Over Child and Marriage

Actor Jung Woo-sung (51) and model Moon Ga-bi (35) are reportedly in conflict over issues related to their child and marriage. The situation is more complex than the phrase 'doing our best in our respective positions' might suggest.

According to a report by TenAsia on the 24th, Jung Woo-sung and Moon Ga-bi recently met to discuss child-rearing and marriage, but significant differences in opinion emerged. Moon Ga-bi expressed a desire to marry and provide a family for their child, while Jung Woo-sung firmly opposed the idea of marriage. Sources indicate that Moon Ga-bi's recent revelation on social media about giving birth was triggered by this conflict.

Jung Woo-sung and Moon Ga-bi had met privately several times in the past, but they were not in a romantic relationship. The exact circumstances of their meeting remain unclear, though there were rumors of an introduction by a famous actor, which were found to be untrue.

Shortly after their meetings, Moon Ga-bi informed Jung Woo-sung of her pregnancy, and she eventually gave birth. After confirming paternity, Jung Woo-sung acknowledged his role as the biological father but did not wish to become 'Moon Ga-bi's husband and the child's father' in a traditional sense. He has provided financial support for child-rearing and birth-related expenses but remains steadfast in his decision not to marry.

Previously, on the 22nd, Moon Ga-bi announced the birth of her child in secret. However, she did not disclose the identity of the child's father or her marital status, sparking public curiosity.

Moon Ga-bi stated, "As a mother, I took courage to live a slightly more ordinary happy life," adding, "The news came so suddenly that I was unprepared, and I spent most of my pregnancy quietly, blessed by my family, rather than openly celebrating."

She further explained her decision to keep her pregnancy private, saying, "I chose to do so solely for the sake of the child. I always believed that to protect something precious, it must be kept hidden."

Regarding her decision to announce the birth, she wrote, "As a mother, I earnestly wish for my child to have a healthy and happy life filled with pure love. I wanted to show my child only the bright and beautiful world I once saw, and for that, I needed to be brave."

Meanwhile, Moon Ga-bi gained popularity as a model with exotic looks and a stunning physique on OnStyle's 'Get It Beauty.' She continued her entertainment career until 2019, appearing in shows like 'High School Style Icon' and 'Law of the Jungle in Tasmania.'
