Dancer Gabi Reveals Her Dream of Joining YG Entertainment and Her Unique Ideal Type

Dancer Gabi recently confessed her long-standing desire to become an artist under YG Entertainment.

On the 19th, the YouTube channel 'TEO 테오' released an episode of the web entertainment show 'Salon Drip 2' titled 'Sister, I'll Approach Carefully^^ | EP.66 Gabi | Salon Drip 2'.

In the episode, Gabi surprised viewers by revealing that she had participated in the first season of SBS's audition program 'K-pop Star'. She shared, "I don't talk about it much because my airtime was heavily edited, but I made it quite far. There were so many talented people. I was among the top 50."

Gabi also admitted that she once visited YG's headquarters in hopes of joining the company. She recounted, "I waited outside YG with a CD of my dance videos and handed it to Yang Hyun-suk, saying, 'Please take this.' I even caught a glimpse of Big Bang's Taeyang at the time. It was a youthful whim. I never heard back." She humorously added, "I've been waiting for 15 years."

Gabi expressed her admiration for YG, stating, "I chose YG during 'K-pop Star' because I love hip-hop and it's cool."

During the episode, Gabi also discussed her ideal type, saying, "I didn't realize it, but I like handsome people." Co-host Jang Do-yeon teased her, "Didn't you ask Lee Chang-ho to go for a walk when you appeared on 'Radio Star' recently?"

Gabi laughed and responded, "But isn't Chang-ho oppa really charming?" Jang Do-yeon playfully asked, "Is Lee Chang-ho your standard of handsome?" Gabi replied, "Then maybe I don't like handsome people," adding to the humor. Jang Do-yeon insisted, "No, he's handsome," and Gabi jokingly agreed, "(Lee Chang-ho) is handsome," continuing the playful banter.
