Lee Chan-won Triumphs with Five Awards at 2024 KGMA
On the 17th, at the inaugural Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA), Lee Chan-won took home awards for Best Song, Diggers Digging Artist, Lulua X Fancast Most Popular Award, Best Adult Contemporary, and Trend of the Year Trot Star, making him a five-time winner.
Upon receiving the Best Song award, Lee Chan-won expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you for this precious award. I had many concerns about releasing a song that I composed, wrote, and produced earlier this year, but I want to thank the fans for their love.” He continued to be called for the Diggers Digging Artist, Lulua X Fancast Most Popular Award, Best Adult Contemporary, and Trend of the Year Trot Star, marking him as the most awarded artist.
Along with the joy of winning, Lee Chan-won performed 'Sky Travel' and 'Masterpiece' from his mini-album 'bright;燦' (Bright; Chan) on stage, further illuminating the '2024 KGMA'. With his soulful voice, he passionately sang 'Masterpiece', showcasing his solid vocal skills and leaving a lasting impression.
Finally, Lee Chan-won proved to be the 'trend of the year' by winning the Lulua X Fancast Most Popular Award. He conveyed his gratitude to his fans, saying, “I heard I won five awards. I am thankful to everyone who helped me receive these five precious awards.”
Meanwhile, after his five-award victory at the '2024 KGMA', Lee Chan-won will hold a solo concert, 'Changa (燦歌)', in Gwangju on November 23 and 24, and an encore performance in Seoul at the KSPO DOME (Gymnastics Arena) on December 13, 14, and 15.
