Kim Tae-won to Tie the Knot with Non-Celebrity Girlfriend in 2025

Comedian Kim Tae-won is set to marry his non-celebrity girlfriend.

According to TenAsia's report on the 14th, Kim Tae-won will hold his wedding on March 23, 2025, in Yeouido with his girlfriend, a drama producer. The couple met through the introduction of the main writer of 'Now, We Are Meeting' and have been in a long-term relationship.

To celebrate the couple's new chapter, veteran comedian Nam Hee-seok will officiate the ceremony. Nam Hee-seok is also a co-star with Kim Tae-won on 'Now, We Are Meeting.' Additionally, Kim Tae-won's mentor, comedian Kim Jun-hyun, will take on the role of the host.

The wedding song will be performed by Eight's Lee Hyun, a close friend of Kim Tae-won, known for their past collaboration on an album. Brown Eyed Soul's Young-jun will also sing to congratulate his dear friend on his marriage.

Kim Tae-won, originally from SBS's 'People Looking for a Laugh,' debuted with 'Father and Son' and later became a KBS public comedian in 2011. Known as the 'Post Kim Jun-hyun,' he has brought laughter to many through his vibrant performances on shows like KBS's 'Gag Concert.' In 2016, he surprised audiences with his singing talent on MBC's 'King of Mask Singer.'

In 2023, Kim joined iHQ's 'Delicious Guys,' transforming into a 'mukbang' star and showcasing his culinary expertise as 'Dr. Kim.' He is also famous for his 'Fake Jung-eun' character, known for his striking resemblance to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. He frequently impersonates Kim Jong-un on Channel A's 'Now, We Are Meeting.'
