Singer Kim Sung-kyu has successfully wrapped up the 10th-anniversary performance of the musical 'Kinky Boots'.

On the evening of November 9th, Kim Sung-kyu concluded the musical 'Kinky Boots' at the Blue Square Shinhan Card Hall in Seoul, marking the end of a two-month run.

'Kinky Boots' is a musical adaptation of the true success story of a shoe factory in Northampton, England, which survived economic downturns by creating a unique line of boots. The musical is celebrated for its message of acceptance and positivity, combined with an engaging storyline and catchy, sophisticated music that has captivated audiences of all ages, earning it the title of a 'life-changing' hit.

In 'Kinky Boots', Kim Sung-kyu played the role of Charlie, a novice factory owner striving to save his family’s shoe business from closure.

Previously, Kim Sung-kyu appeared in the 2020 and 2022 seasons of the musical, delivering a performance that fully embodied the character of Charlie. Returning for the 10th-anniversary show, he showcased enhanced acting skills and exceptional vocal prowess, befitting his third consecutive casting.

On stage, Kim Sung-kyu captivated audiences with his commanding presence, honed through numerous productions such as 'Gwanghwamun Sonata', 'Excalibur', 'Red Book', and 'Dear Evan Hansen'. His powerful voice, befitting a top Korean vocalist, and his dance skills, reminiscent of his days as the leader of the K-pop legend INFINITE, drew enthusiastic applause and cheers.

After the final performance of 'Kinky Boots', Kim Sung-kyu expressed his gratitude through his agency, Billions, saying, "It was an honor to be part of the 10th-anniversary performance of 'Kinky Boots', and I received immense energy from the audience. I sincerely thank everyone once again, and wish you all health and happiness. Stay 'Kinky' today!"

Meanwhile, Kim Sung-kyu, as part of INFINITE, will embark on a 15th-anniversary tour titled 'LIMITED EDITION', starting with performances from December 6th to 8th at the KSPO DOME in Seoul. The tour will continue with shows in Taipei on December 21st and 22nd, Macau on January 11th and 12th, Jakarta on January 18th, Singapore on February 7th, Yokohama on February 15th and 16th, Kuala Lumpur on February 22nd, and Hong Kong on March 1st, totaling 13 performances across 8 cities.
