Actress Han Ga-in Reveals Her Gifted Daughter's English Study Method
Han Ga-in decided to reveal her bathroom for the first time, but before that, she introduced her eldest daughter's room, which one must pass through to reach the main bathroom. Han Ga-in explained, 'This is our master bedroom, but since she's a girl, we thought it would be better for her to have a bathroom attached, so we gave it up.' Her daughter's room was filled with books, including thick English originals. When the production team expressed surprise at her daughter's ability to read such thick books, Han Ga-in remarked, 'She's been reading a lot for a long time, so she seems to be able to speed-read on her own. She speaks two languages, she's bilingual.' Regarding whether her daughter had lived abroad, Han Ga-in clarified, 'No, she's from Sindang-dong. I thought it was because of the English kindergarten, but she was good at English even before attending.' She added, 'As a tip, we played a lot of English story tales like background music from a young age, for several hours a day. It seems to have entered her ears.'
The production team marveled at her daughter's love for exploring and studying, to which Han Ga-in responded, 'She seems to have a talent in this area.' When asked if she wanted her daughter to become a doctor, Han Ga-in replied, 'I really don't want her to be a doctor. If she likes scientific things and wants to do research, that's great, or whatever she wants to do.' Han Ga-in emphasized that she doesn't want to push her daughter to study excessively, saying, 'To become a doctor, you have to study a lot, and I don't want to push her to study too much.'
Previously, Han Ga-in had shared her daily life of 24-hour parenting on her YouTube channel, showing her picking up her daughter from academy and eating meals in the car. She also demonstrated her passion for learning by studying English during the waiting time for pick-up. Han Ga-in married actor Yeon Jung-hoon in 2005 and they have a son and a daughter. It is known that their eldest daughter is in the top 1% of gifted children, and their son has also been identified as gifted.
