Kwak Si-yang and Lim Hyun-joo End Their Relationship After a Year of Dating
Actors Kwak Si-yang and Lim Hyun-joo have ended their relationship.

Kwak Si-yang's agency, Drawing Entertainment, confirmed on the 5th, "It is true that the two have broken up. They have decided to support each other's future." Lim Hyun-joo's agency, Studio Santa Claus Entertainment, also stated, "The two recently ended their relationship. They have decided to remain as supportive colleagues."

Kwak Si-yang and Lim Hyun-joo publicly acknowledged their relationship in September last year, having developed into a couple after meeting in private settings.

Kwak Si-yang had often expressed his affection for Lim Hyun-joo in public. During an interview at the release of 'Desperate Chase' in August, Kwak mentioned that Lim attended the premiere to support him.

Kwak Si-yang shared, "I tend to focus on my scenes, but she found the overall experience enjoyable. When I expressed dissatisfaction with my performance, she encouraged me not to be too hard on myself."

In his late 30s, Kwak Si-yang has cautiously shared his thoughts on marriage. He said, "I've always wanted to get married since I was young. I want to build a happy family and live joyfully. It would be fun to live with a life partner who responds with 'why' when I say 'hey,' supporting each other." However, he added, "Talking about marriage is a bit cautious since we're publicly dating."

In August, Kwak appeared on the YouTube channel 'Jjanhyeong Shin Dong-yup' and mentioned Lim Hyun-joo.

Kwak Si-yang said, "I was charmed by her when I visited my friend, actor Lim Sung-jae's house. She came in with a badminton racket slung over her shoulder, wearing a relaxed tracksuit, looking cute and confident. I found that very endearing. I tend to be more attracted to such natural appearances than to dressed-up looks."

However, after a year of public dating, the two have decided to go their separate ways.

Born in 1987, Kwak Si-yang debuted in the independent film 'Night Flight' in 2014. He has appeared in dramas such as 'Oh My Ghost', 'Mirror of the Witch', 'Chicago Typewriter', 'Lovers of the Red Sky', and 'Reborn Rich'. He is also cast in the upcoming series 'The Guy is a Black Dragon', set to be released next year.

Born in 1992, Lim Hyun-joo gained recognition through Channel A's dating show 'Heart Signal' Season 2. She has since pursued an acting career, appearing in dramas like 'Woo Woo Season 2', 'Engine On from Today', 'Three Meals a Day', and 'Today is Lovable'.
