Singer Nam Woo-hyun is set to make his return as a musical actor.

On the afternoon of the 17th, the production company PR Company for the musical 'Bloody Love' unveiled profile photos of Nam Woo-hyun and other cast members via their official social media channels.

In the photos, Nam Woo-hyun is seen against the backdrop of a full moon in a dark night sky, donning a classic outfit and exuding an intense gaze.

Marking his return to musicals after 2 years and 4 months, Nam Woo-hyun is set to showcase a new transformation in 'Bloody Love'. His dazzling visuals under the soft moonlight and his embodiment of the character Dimitru have heightened anticipation for the production.

In this musical, Nam Woo-hyun takes on the role of Dimitru, the loyal servant of Dracula who shares a friendship that transcends life and death. He is expected to deliver a profound emotional impact to the audience with his solid vocal skills and delicate acting, honed through numerous productions.

'Bloody Love' is based on Bram Stoker's classic novel, which has been a steady seller. It premiered in the Czech Republic in 1995 and in Korea in 1998, receiving immense love from audiences worldwide for 30 years. The musical is being newly produced by PR Company, a cultural content specialist, and will meet audiences at the end of this year with a fresh reinterpretation that adds a new sensibility to the classic authenticity of the original 'Dracula'.

Notably, the adaptation is directed by Noh Woo-sung, a renowned storyteller and director known for his innovative direction in the musical world. By structuring the first and second acts in entirely different time and space settings, the production offers a cinematic experience with a solid storyline and music, presenting a new stage distinct from the traditional 'Dracula'.

Nam Woo-hyun made a successful debut on the musical stage in 2012 with 'Gwanghwamun Sonata' and has since appeared in musicals such as 'Barnum: The Great Showman', 'The Days', 'Mephisto', 'Jack the Ripper', and 'Hourglass'.

The musical 'Bloody Love', featuring Nam Woo-hyun, will run from December 7, 2024, to February 16, 2025, at the KEPCO Art Center in Seocho-gu, Seoul. Further details regarding ticket reservations will be announced later.

Nam Woo-hyun recently concluded his fourth solo concert 'Tree World' in Seoul, Taipei, and Hong Kong. He will wrap up his Asia tour on the 26th in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
