Jang Jung-yoon Expresses Deep Affection for Her Daughter
Jang Jung-yoon, wife of actor Kim Seung-hyun, has shared her heartfelt emotions towards her daughter.

On the 16th, Jang revealed, "When I first brought home Riyeon, who weighed just over 2 kilograms, I was so afraid she might break if I touched her. I cried a lot out of fear (and still do sometimes). When she had colic and her formula came out of her nose due to indigestion, I held her and blamed myself, saying, 'I'm sorry, mommy is sorry,' as if something terrible had happened," she began.

She continued, "I thought I had to feed her every three hours no matter what, so I worried about everything, even if she ate less or slept a lot. I was so anxious every day, but the postpartum care teacher told me to trust that the baby has the ability to self-regulate," adding, "I didn't want to leave the baby with my husband and did everything myself, but I quickly got exhausted. My husband told me to trust that he could do well too. Once I started trusting both the baby and my husband, things got a little better."

She added, "My daughter Riyeon, who was born small and is growing slowly, is now more than twice her birth weight and is growing healthily. Her leg strength is improving, and she's starting to hold her head up. Instead of saying 'I'm sorry' to her, I started saying 'Thank you.'"

Jang also shared, "I read a poem by author Han Kang and cried again. I can understand the hearts of all mothers. I was always slow and lacking, but I learned a lot after becoming a mother. I have more affection for the world and people. Everything will be okay," quoting the poem 'It's Okay' by Han Kang, who won the 2024 Nobel Prize in Literature.

Along with this, she shared photos with her husband Kim Seung-hyun and their daughter Riyeon. The images show Riyeon sleeping like a princess in her parents' arms, with Kim Seung-hyun and Jang Jung-yoon lovingly kissing their daughter, exuding happiness.

Meanwhile, Kim Seung-hyun married Jang Jung-yoon, a former broadcast writer, in 2020. The couple conceived through IVF and welcomed their daughter 45 days earlier than the expected due date last August.
