Actress Kim Go-eun Discusses Changes After Adopting Short Haircut
Actress Kim Go-eun shared the changes she experienced after adopting a short haircut.

On the 30th, Kim Go-eun conducted an interview at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, regarding her new movie 'Laws of Love in the Big City,' sharing various stories.

'Laws of Love in the Big City' is based on the novel by author Park Sang-young and depicts the unique love story of Jae-hee (played by Kim Go-eun), a free spirit who knows no bounds, and Heung-soo (played by Noh Sang-hyun), who is accustomed to distancing himself from the world. The film was invited to the 49th Toronto International Film Festival, one of the world's four major international film festivals, where it received critical acclaim.

In the film, Kim Go-eun passionately portrays Jae-hee, a character in search of her own happiness and identity.

Kim Go-eun, who attended the 49th Toronto International Film Festival, garnered significant attention for revealing her short haircut. Previously, she had appeared at a production briefing with a long wig. Kim Go-eun humorously remarked, "I tried to hide it, but it was too unnatural. Many people already suspected it was a wig. I didn't know who I was wearing the wig for," adding, "Honestly, it's so comfortable now. I used to be stingy about washing my hair, but these days, I've become very generous about it," eliciting laughter.

She also shared the reactions of local audiences who watched the film. Kim Go-eun said, "It was very touching. The audience reacted to each scene as if they were watching a concert, laughing and clapping. I watched it with about 1,200 people, and it was an experience I've never had before. It was grand."

'Laws of Love in the Big City' is set to be released on October 1st.
