Actor Noh Sang-hyun Shares Experience Working with Kim Go-eun in 'Laws of the City'
Actor Noh Sang-hyun shared his thoughts on working with Kim Go-eun.

On the 24th, Noh Sang-hyun conducted an interview at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, discussing various aspects of the film 'Laws of the City'.

'Laws of the City' is based on the novel by author Park Sang-young and depicts the unique love story of Jae-hee (Kim Go-eun), a free spirit who doesn't care about others' opinions, and Heung-soo (Noh Sang-hyun), who is used to distancing himself from the world. The film was invited to the 49th Toronto International Film Festival, one of the world's four major international film festivals, where it received positive reviews.

In the film, Noh Sang-hyun and Kim Go-eun had to portray a 13-year-old 'real friend' chemistry. Noh Sang-hyun said, "At first, I was very shy around Kim Go-eun. I'm not a talkative person, but we became much closer after having a drink together. Since we are of similar age, we opened up and joked around. As we spent more time together during the shoot, we had many conversations," he shared.

He continued, "(These processes) greatly helped our acting chemistry. To create a 'real friend' vibe, we had to act like real friends. The environment and conditions were suitable for that. Our age and personalities matched well. Thanks to that, our chemistry was good. The first scene we shot at Jae-hee's house went very well. I felt that our chemistry would be great. After that, there were no concerns, and everything felt positive," he added.

'Laws of the City' will be released on the 1st of next month.
