Pro Golfer Ahn Sung-hyun Faces Trial for Fraud and Bribery Charges

Ahn Sung-hyun, the husband of actress Sung Yuri and a former professional golfer, is set to face trial today (10th).

The trial for Ahn Sung-hyun, who is charged with fraud and bribery under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes, will be held at the Seoul Southern District Court.

Previously, Ahn was indicted for allegedly receiving tens of billions of won in kickbacks in exchange for promising to list a cryptocurrency on an exchange. During the first trial held at the Seoul Southern District Court last December, Ahn denied the charges, stating, "It is true that I exchanged money with Kang Jong-hyun, but it was not for solicitation."

Meanwhile, Sung Yuri and Ahn Sung-hyun got married in 2017 and welcomed twin daughters in January 2022.
