Um Tae-goo to Hold First Fan Meeting in 17 Years

Actor Um Tae-goo is set to hold his first fan meeting in 17 years since his debut.

Um Tae-goo will host his inaugural fan meeting, 'The 1st Um Tae-goo Fan Meeting,' on September 28 at the Coex Shinhan Card Artium in Gangnam, Seoul, to express his gratitude for the overwhelming love from his fans.

TEAMHOPE, Um Tae-goo's agency, announced the fan meeting by posting a poster on their official Instagram on the 30th. The released poster features Um Tae-goo in homewear, holding pastel-colored balloons and flowers in both hands, seemingly celebrating. Notably, Um Tae-goo captivates with a soft and warm charm that is rarely seen.

Um Tae-goo has recently transformed into a lovable character in 'The Woman Who Plays,' a stark contrast to the rugged roles he has portrayed in numerous works, earning him immense love from global fans. According to the FUNdex survey by Good Data Corporation, a K-content competitiveness analysis agency, Um Tae-goo ranked first in the drama/non-drama overall cast popularity category for five consecutive weeks.

Meanwhile, tickets for 'The 1st Um Tae-goo Fan Meeting' will be available for purchase on Interpark Ticket starting at 8 PM on September 2.
