Sunye: “There are no specific plans for Wonder Girls’ full performance”
A pictorial of Sunye from Wonder Girls has been released.
In this pictorial, Sunye created a charismatic atmosphere with chic and unique styling from head to toe.
Sunye, who is appearing in the musical 'Moon Knight', said in an interview, "'Moon Knight' is a jukebox dance musical based on 'Moon Knight' in Itaewon, a dance mecca in the 90s. “I am working with Seven oppa, and since the performance is touring the country like an event, I think I will be able to meet fans closely,” he said.
He boasts of perfect chemistry with his co-star Se7en, and said, “My older brother is the type of mood maker who takes care of people very well and makes it fun, so thanks to that, I’m having fun doing it.”
When asked how he decided to return to activity, he said, “Rather than starting my own return, I think I was thankful that I was able to seize the opportunity because they called me first. As I was raising three children, the environment was difficult, and I don't think I had any expectations of being able to be active again. “It was a great opportunity for me to appear on tvN’s ‘Mom Is an Idol’ program, and I think I was able to make a comeback as musical offers continued to come in,” he said. As she stood on stage for the first time in a long time through ‘Mom Is an Idol’, she said she felt a familiar yet unfamiliar feeling. “I had a lot of mixed emotions,” he explained. He continued, “It seems like a gift I wasn’t expecting has arrived. I am grateful that I can enjoy work again. “I feel like I have more peace of mind than before,” he said, showing a more mature appearance.
He continues to challenge himself as a musical actor, saying, “I wanted to do a musical since I was young, but I thought, ‘Can I really act?’ I ended up thinking about it. As time passed and I encountered ‘acting’ again, I felt like I accepted it more naturally than before. “The more I learned, the more I thought it was a cool thing to do, and little by little I started having fun with it,” he explained.
Sunye, who wants to continue her acting career, said, “What’s really attractive about being an actor is that the older you get, the more natural you can act for that age. There are parts of the character that heal on their own, but the fun and emotion of interacting with the public through the stage or screen is special. He expressed his wish to meet more diverse characters in the future.”
He has recently ventured into the jazz genre and is said to be about to perform with the jazz band Prelude. I asked how he got into jazz. “I used to love listening to jazz. Even within jazz, there are many different genres. When I listened to the music that was popularized and arranged, I found it attractive. “I decided to take on the challenge because I thought it would be fun to collide and collaborate,” he explained. He continued, “The performance with the Prelude Band is just around the corner. I'm looking forward to it. “I think it will be a unique performance,” he said, raising expectations.
Wonder Girls maintain a strong friendship that does not change even after a long time has passed. Sunye said, “We try to meet often, but it’s not easy. Each member is working hard and doing their own thing. “We always support each other and keep in touch,” he said. He continued, “I went to Daehakro to see Sohee’s play ‘Closer’ not long ago. I was a friend who had been interested in acting ever since she was with Wonder Girls and dreamed of becoming an actress... “I was always far away, so I only supported her in my heart, but when I saw her performance in person, my heart was touched,” he said, expressing his special affection for member Sohee.
When asked if there were any plans for Wonder Girls to promote as a whole, she said, “A lot of people are asking. I don't have any specific plans, but I would like to try it if I get the chance. “I think it would be fun to do it like a guerrilla concert,” he said.
When asked if Sunye, who has become the icon of a 'multi-mom', has any difficulties raising children, she said, "There are many difficulties because I have three children, but I think I am able to live with strength because the joy and happiness are greater than that. “Being able to live as a mother is the greatest happiness in my life,” she said. She continued, “I am also very grateful to my husband. “I think I am able to be active as I am now thanks to my husband’s support,” she said, expressing her gratitude and affection.
He wants to enjoy life while working hard at the tasks given to him. “I am trying to spend every moment happily and gratefully,” he said.
