Bae Jin-young, a member of Wanna One, parted ways with his agency after 7 years.

As a result of Ten Asia's coverage on the 4th, Bae Jin-young decided not to renew his contract with C9 Entertainment. It is said that after a long discussion, a decision was made to terminate the contract.
Bae Jin-young raised his profile by appearing on Mnet's survival program 'Produce 101 Season 2', which aired in April 2017. At the time, he was a trainee for 11 months and received an F grade position due to his somewhat lacking skills. However, he boasted dramatic growth with each performance and eventually became a member of Wanna One in 10th place.
Bae Jin-young, who debuted as a member of Wanna One on August 7, 2017, gradually improved his skills while working as a sub vocalist in the group. Wanna One, who gained great popularity, ended their activities with a concert in January 2019. Afterwards, Bae Jin-young released a solo album called ‘It’s Hard to Embrace the End’ in April.

CIX has so far released 6 mini albums and 1 full-length album. They released their first single album '0 or 1' this year and successfully held a solo tour of the same name. Last month, '2024 FIX WEEK' was held for a week to commemorate the 5th anniversary of their debut. Main vocalist Seunghoon won the final victory in 'Build Up: Vocal Boy Group Survival', which aired earlier this year, and is currently working in parallel with CIX and BDU.
C9 Entertainment, where Bae Jin-young has been working for about 7 years, is the company that includes Younha and Lee Seok-hoon. CIX is the first to plan a boy group. After CIX's debut, C9 Entertainment has been actively producing idols such as Signature and Effex.
