Lee Hye-seong loses up to 35kg
Announcer-turned-broadcaster Lee Hye-seong revealed that she went on an extreme diet.
On the 29th, a video titled 'How to escape from addiction to recognition' featuring Hye-seong Lee was posted on the YouTube channel 'Sebasi Lecture'.
In the video released on this day, Lee Hye-seong revealed that after much hard work, she entered the Department of Business Administration at Seoul National University, but felt empty after achieving her goal. Hye-seong Lee said, “After I was admitted, I had to go to the hospital hard to treat my back and neck, which had been strained from sitting on a chair for 16 hours every day. “More than anything, the mental emptiness overwhelmed me,” he said. “I wandered a lot. I wondered what I bought it for. “At that time, I needed a new goal to pour everything into.”
His new goal was diet. Afterwards, Hye-seong Lee packed a piece of unsalted chicken breast and a cucumber to school and said, “I couldn’t even make a meal date because I was afraid I would gain weight if I ate regular food. While dieting, I started doing excessive weight training at the same time. “I thought I wasn’t pretty enough,” she explained. Lee Hye-seong lost 35 kg that way. He said, “It doesn’t make sense. It was not a sustainable weight. Less than half a year after starting college, I had a bad experience with binge eating. Binge eating led to extreme exercise. “During this period, once I started exercising, I had to jump rope 10,000 times and run 20km to finish it,” he confessed.
Lee Hye-seong said about her changed values, saying, “Happiness is not in the order of grades, and success is not in the order of grades,” and “I try to slowly enjoy the process of running towards my goal.”
