Min Hee-jin’s popular incitement tactic worked… Will Hive forgive its betrayed representative?

Min Hee-jin, CEO of Adore, was different even in her attire. He appeared in front of the public in haggard clothes, as if revealing that he had not slept a wink for three days and nights, and this time, he greeted the public in a brighter mood than anyone else. Directing, his talent and greatest weapon, shone. Representative Min, dividing the Hive conflict into women and men, working class and bourgeoisie also played a role. This is because the public always likes drama-like narratives in which the weak defeat the strong.

First, the court ruled in favor of Representative Min. Previously, the court ruled that although there were circumstances where CEO Min sought breach of trust, he did not commit breach of trust because there was no damage to the company. The entertainment industry believes that the dispute between Hive and CEO Min remains. This is because, as the court explained, Representative Min’s ‘treacherous act’ is clear.

However, Representative Min expressed that ‘betrayal’ is not an important issue. He said the problem was that trust between them had been broken. It is argued that the reason for this is that both sides were unable to understand each other's position. He then extended a hand of reconciliation to Hive. It was a contradictory attitude to the first press conference, where he made high-level remarks such as “Mr.

At the second press conference, CEO Min's legal representatives explained the situation by saying, "There is no way to force the directors to act on their voting rights, so he can be dismissed as CEO only with a resolution from the directors." Representative Min's change in attitude is also interpreted as an intention to escape from a situation where the scope for maneuver is narrowed because the possibility of dismissal still remains.

In fact, as the court pointed out that "whether it should be considered an act of breach of trust must go through a thorough investigation of evidence and a thorough hearing," there is a possibility that the joys and sorrows of both sides will change depending on the results of the formal trial in the future.

Reconciliation between the two sides is expected to be difficult. First, three people from Hive were appointed as new directors at this year's general shareholders' meeting. This choice itself is an intention to not accept Representative Min’s position within Adore. In particular, regarding finances, we included Hive CFO, a former accountant. This is interpreted to mean that management and supervision will be strengthened in future budget execution and a closer investigation will be conducted into accounting processes over the past three years.

Currently, both sides seem to be taking a breather. However, it was just a matter of taking a break to achieve the results we both wanted, but the situation did not change. It is highly likely that the hardline atmosphere on both sides will continue. I just hope that Hive, Adore, its employees, and its artists are not harmed in this process.
