Zico does not attend Yonsei University festival due to diagnosis of vocal cord inflammation

Singer Zico was diagnosed with vocal cord inflammation.

On the 26th, his agency KOZ Entertainment said on the fan community platform Weverse, "Zico felt something was wrong with his throat during practice yesterday and received medical treatment at the hospital. As a result of a detailed examination, he was diagnosed with vocal cord inflammation, and the medical staff said he needed rest and recovery. Accordingly, we will not be able to participate in the Yonsei University alumni Akaraka ('Akaraka with ALUMNI') event scheduled for that day."

He continued, "We plan to operate with the artist's health as our top priority, and we will do our best for the artist's treatment and recovery so that Zico can continue his activities in good health."

Meanwhile, Zico released a new song 'SPOT!' with Blackpink Jennie on the 26th of last month. He is currently hosting KBS 2TV's 'The Seasons - Zico's Artist'.
