Byeon Woo-seok, No. 1 topical all-kill

Byeon Woo-seok of ‘Bounce with Seon-jae on His Back’ ranked first among the most talked-about performers.

According to Good Data Corporation, a K-content online competitiveness analysis agency, on the 14th, tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Seonjae and Jump' ranked first in the TV-OTT drama topicality survey for the second week of May. Continuing from last week, it reached the top spot for two weeks in a row.

'Bounce with Seonjae' has broken its own record for four consecutive weeks since its first broadcast on the 8th of last month. Leading actors Byun Woo-seok and Kim Hye-yoon ranked first and second in most topicality, continuing from last week, and Song Geon-hee also ranked third.

While the average topicality score for the recently ended 8 weeks of 'Queen of Tears' was 71,412 points, ranking 5th in history, the average topicality score for the 5th week of the broadcast of 'Sunup Twi' was 68,248 points, ranking 9th in history.

The big difference between the two programs is that 'Queen of Tears' is ranked first in the video clip category, and 'Seonjae Jumps Up' is ranked third all time in the VON (Voice of Netizen) category, which surveys netizens' posts and comments. It is showing competitiveness.

Regarding the reason why the VON section is hot, Good Data Data PD Won Soon-woo said, “The sensuous directing, fresh story, Kim Hye-yoon’s best-ever acting, and even the OST are receiving good reviews, and with the addition of a new star named Byun Woo-seok, netizens’ reactions are hot. At the same time, he predicted, “If the center of story development moves from Byun Woo-seok and Kim Hye-yoon to the protagonist’s family and friends, the topicality and viewership ratings could increase further as male interest is added.”

JTBC's 'I'm Not a Hero' took second place. It was found that topicality increased by 53.6% compared to the first week of last week's broadcast. Chun Woo-hee and Jang Ki-yong ranked 5th and 6th in the performer category, respectively.

Third place is tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama 'Graduation', with the leads Jung Ryeo-won and Wi Ha-jun ranked 4th and 7th in terms of topicality.

Afterwards, 4th to 8th place were announced in that order: MBC's 'Investigation Team Leader 1958', JTBC's 'No Secrets', KBS2's 'Beauties and Gentlemen', Disney+'s 'Dominant Species', and SBS's 'Resurrection of the Seven'.

Meanwhile, the two OTT dramas scheduled to be released, 'Uncle Samsik' and 'The 8 Show', entered 9th and 10th place, respectively.
