Park Hae-soo "I really wanted to act with Jeon Do-yeon"
Actress Park Hye-soo revealed that she really wanted to stand on stage with Jeon Do-yeon.

On the afternoon of the 23rd, a production presentation for the play 'Cherry Blossom Garden' was held at LG Arts Center Seoul in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. Jeon Do-yeon, Park Hae-soo, Sang-gyu Son, director Simon Stone, stage designer Saul Kim, and LG Arts Center director Hyun-jung Lee attended.

Park Hae-soo will perform on stage once again following the play 'Faust'. He said, "I do what I want to do, whether it's dramas, movies, or performances. As a male actor, I didn't want to miss out on the role of the male lead in 'The Cherry Orchard'. I didn't want to regret it later. Also, I was impressed with how director Simon Stone's rehearsal process went. “I was curious about whether the work would come out,” he said.

He continued, "I work with great actors, but I had never worked with senior Jeon Do-yeon. When I heard the news, I was surprised and thought, 'Senior Jeon Do-yeon is performing?' and I really wanted to stand on stage with her."

'The Cherry Orchard' is based on the work of Anton Chekhov, a great Russian writer, and tells the story of a fallen female landowner in the 19th century through events taking place in modern Seoul, shedding light on the rapidly changing modern society.

Jeon Do-yeon played the role of Song Do-young (Lyu Ba in the original), who left for the United States and returned after the death of her son. Hae-soo Park plays the role of Hwang Du-sik (Lopahin in the original), a successful real estate developer.

'Cherry Blossom Garden' will be performed at LG Arts Center Seoul, LG SIGNATURE Hall from June 4th to July 7th.
