[Official] Park Bo-ram's agency "Deep condolences on the deceased's final journey"

With the death of singer Park Bo-ram, her agency Xanadu Entertainment released a statement.

On the 12th, Xanadu Entertainment released a statement saying, "We have been informed of sad and heartbreaking news." Park Bo-ram passed away suddenly the afternoon before. Age 30.

The agency said, "All fellow artists and employees of Xanadu Entertainment are deeply mourning the deceased in great sadness," and added, "It is even more heartbreaking to deliver sudden news to fans who support Park Bo-ram."

He also said, “We earnestly ask you to refrain from making speculative reports so that the grieving bereaved family and colleagues can commemorate the deceased,” and added, “Funeral procedures will be held after consultation with the bereaved family and a funeral home will be prepared.”

Lastly, he said, “Once again, I send my deepest condolences to the deceased on his final journey.”

Park Bo-ram appeared on Mnet's audition program 'Superstar K2' in 2010 and received attention for her outstanding singing skills. In 2014, she made her official debut with 'You've Become Pretty' and ranked high on various charts that year.

Afterwards, Park Bo-ram continued her career by releasing songs such as ‘Pretty Person’, ‘Want to Be in Entertainment’, ‘Why You?’, and ‘Don’t Try Too Hard’. In addition, in February of this year, marking the 10th anniversary of his debut, he released 'It Would Be Good' as a duet with 'Superstar K2' winner Huh Gak, and on the 3rd of this month, he released a new song 'I Miss You Already'.

Late at night on April 11th, Park Boram suddenly left us.

All of our fellow artists and employees at Xanadu Entertainment are deeply mourning the deceased with great sadness.

We earnestly ask that you refrain from making speculative reports so that the grieving family and colleagues can commemorate the deceased.

Funeral procedures will be held after consultation with the bereaved family.
