Park Bo-young “Remember 0416”… Commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Sewol Ferry victims

Actress Park Bo-young commemorated the 10th anniversary of the Sewol Ferry victims.

Park Bo-young commemorated the Sewol Ferry disaster on her Instagram story. A photo of a yellow ribbon was posted with the text “Remember 0416.” The yellow ribbon symbolizes the hope for the safe return of those on the battlefield, as well as the hope for the safe return of those missing in the Sewol Ferry disaster.

April 16, 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of the Sewol Ferry victims. On April 16, 2014, the passenger ship Sewol, heading from Incheon to Jeju, sank in the sea near Jindo, causing a major disaster in which 304 passengers (476 total on board) died or disappeared. To mark the 10th anniversary of the Sewol Ferry disaster, events to commemorate the victims are being held across the country.
