Jeong Dong-won's father, contract conflict while in prison, "I don't know Jeong Dong-won"

It has been reported that singer Jeong Dong-won's father is currently in prison and is experiencing an exclusive contract conflict with the trot singer.

According to the entertainment industry on the 8th, it was reported that Jeong Dong-won's father, Mr. A, and Trot singer B are currently experiencing a conflict over the exclusive contract.

Accordingly, they signed an exclusive contract last year due to their long-term relationship, but soon after signing the contract, trust was broken due to communication problems, and Mr. B wanted to terminate the exclusive contract, but he was unable to contact Mr. A. This is because Jeong Dong-won's father, Mr. A, is currently imprisoned in prison.

Mr. B said, "Mr. A lost contact with me, so I checked with his legal representative and found out that he is currently imprisoned. I do not know his release schedule." He added, "Jeong Dong-won had no idea about this incident. I have never told him about it. Just in case. “I am worried that Jeong Dong-won will suffer damage due to the spread of information that is different from the facts. I hope there is no misunderstanding.”

Regarding this, we contacted Jeong Dong-won's agency, Showplay Entertainment, but have not yet been contacted.

Jeong Dong-won debuted in 2019 and ranked 5th in season 1 of TV Chosun's 'Mr. Trot', which ended in March 2020. Recently, he has been working as JD1, a secondary character with the ‘AI new idol’ concept.
