Baby Monster tops YouTube MV chart despite harsh reviews

Despite harsh reviews, Baby Monster topped the YouTube Music Chart with a pre-released song from their first mini album.

According to the latest chart released by YouTube on the 3rd (2024.02.01), Baby Monster's new song 'Stuck In The Middle' topped global YouTube's daily popular music videos.

In fact, this music video exceeded 10 million views in less than a day after being released on the 1st, and ranked first among the 'most viewed videos in 24 hours'. It also entered the top ranks of the music video charts of the largest local music streaming sites, including Japan's Line Music and China's QQ Music.

However, the public's reviews of the new song 'Stuck In The Middle' are disappointing. It is an opinion that the lyrical but somewhat plain ballad genre, chiffon dress, dreamy but somewhat ambiguous CG, and overly flashy accessories are reminiscent of the second-generation idol groups from 10 years ago.

Meanwhile, Baby Monster will release its first mini album on April 1 following the pre-released song 'Stuck In The Middle'.
