Broadcaster Lee Ji-hye participated in the 'Green Umbrella Santa Expedition' campaign in the name of her two children to promote the healthy growth of infants and toddlers from low-income families.

Green Umbrella (Chairman Hwang Young-ki), a child welfare organization, reported this on the 21st. Jihye Lee has participated in donations for single mothers and infants every year through Green Umbrella since 2021, and also participated in the Santa Expedition this year.

Lee Ji-hye, who participated in this campaign, donated 20 million won of YouTube profits this year, 10 million won each in the names of her two children, saying, “I donated the proceeds in the names of my children because I thought that the ‘Not Hateable Gwanjong Sister’ YouTube channel received a lot of love thanks to my two daughters.” He said.

He also added, “Through this donation in the children’s name, we wanted to convey the love our family received to others,” adding, “We hope that children from low-income families will grow up healthy, and we will continue to show interest and support efforts for this purpose.”

Park Soo-bong, head of Green Umbrella's Seoul Region 3 headquarters, said, “Supporter Lee Ji-hye's warm heart will be a message of hope to many children,” and added, “We will continue to work with our sponsors to always work by the side of children to create a world where children are happy.”

Lee Ji-hye is currently appearing in various entertainment programs such as SBS' 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny', and is actively active, including running a YouTube channel called 'Unhateable Gwanjong Sister'. Last year, Green Umbrella's social contribution activities are continuing, such as joining the 'Green Noble Club', a group of large donors with over 100 million won.
