hello.
This is Pledis Entertainment.
We would like to inform you about the health status and future schedule of Seventeen member Jeonghan.
Jeonghan suffered an injury to his left ankle in the past and has received various conservative treatments. The artist's determination to participate in all scheduled activities this year was strong, and he continued his activities by regularly checking the condition of his ankle with the medical staff.
While completing his recent tour schedule, Jeonghan's ankle pain worsened, so he urgently visited the hospital and was diagnosed by the medical staff as needing surgery. Accordingly, he was hospitalized on the 13th (Wednesday) and underwent ankle surgery on the morning of the 14th (Thursday). The surgery was completed successfully, and Jeonghan is currently resting and resting.
We decided that it would be advisable to prioritize the artist's health and focus on recovery and treatment of the injured area. Therefore, it will be difficult for Jeonghan to participate in official activities for the time being, including the upcoming SEVENTEEN TOUR 'FOLLOW' TO JAPAN's Fukuoka performance and 'FOLLOW' TO ASIA's Bangkok, Bulacan, and Macau performances. We ask for fans’ generous understanding in this regard.
We will do our best for Jeonghan's treatment and recovery so that he can meet his fans in good health as soon as possible.
thank you
