BTS, finally enlists in active duty army
On the 5th, BTS' agency Big Hit Music said through Weverse, "RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are enlisting as active-duty soldiers in the Army to fulfill their military service obligations. RM, V are scheduled to enlist in accordance with their respective procedures, and Jimin, “Jungkook is scheduled to enlist together.”
There will be no separate official event on the day of BTS' entry into the boot camp. Big Hit Music said, "The boot camp entrance ceremony is an event attended by many soldiers and their families. To prevent safety accidents due to crowding at the site, we ask that fans refrain from visiting the site. We ask that you only give a warm send-off and encouragement with your heart." He emphasized.
“Please be careful not to suffer damage from various tours or package products that use artist IP without permission. We will take corresponding action against commercial activities that use artist IP without permission,” he warned.
Lastly, he added, “We ask for your support and unwavering love until the day RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook return healthy after completing their military service.”
Meanwhile, RM and V are expected to enlist on December 11th, and Jimin and Jungkook are expected to enlist on the 12th, the next day. Last December, BTS's eldest brother Jin enlisted in the army as an active-duty soldier, and J-Hope also enlisted in the army as an active-duty soldier last April. Suga has been serving as a social worker since September after completing basic military training.
